Diepholz - The Diepholz-based company Vensys Elektrotechnik has been honored by the AOK Lower Saxony for its demonstrably successful introduction of company health management (BGM).
Brunhild Schlarmann, HR manager at Vensys in Diepholz - manufacturer of converter systems, switchgear and controls for wind turbines - received a certificate and a health bonus of 5 100 euros from AOK corporate customer advisor Ingo Mehlich and BGM advisor Kea Vanessa Witt. In addition, the 51 employees insured with the AOK each received a participation bonus of 100 euros.
Together with the steering committee, which consists of Anna Luersen, Christina Brüning and Manuela Thiessen, the BGM was introduced in the company, the AOK press release continues.
Brunhild Schlarmann cited reasons for introducing health management at Vensys: "Healthy, motivated and satisfied employees promote their own and the company's performance." She attaches particular importance to a good corporate culture that is humane and characterized by trust, according to the press release. Recently, Vensys has achieved a noticeable improvement in working conditions with optimization - for example, ergonomics at all workplaces, communication and information.
"In some cases, relatively simple measures with a big impact," according to steering committee participants.
Kea Vanessa Witt emphasizes that not only the health behavior of individual employees is important, but also the conditions within the company: "Especially the so-called soft factors such as appreciation, collegiality and well-being at work have a significant influence on the health of employees. The starting points for joint project work are therefore above all the organizational processes, the working atmosphere and leadership behavior in a company.
Around 90 employees work at Vensys Elektrotechnik at the Diepholz site on Dieselstraße. The company has been participating in the bonus model of the AOK Lower Saxony since 2017.
